Gem Cottage is open from June to September each year and is ideally suited for 2 people. The cottage is light, spacious and south facing.

The Area

Gem Cottage is ideally situated in a quiet residential area 5 minutes from the town centre and beaches of Teignmouth (The Gem of South Devon). There are regular trains and buses to surrounding areas if required.

Teignmouth has all the local amenities including a large supermarket and theatre. Several golf courses and lovely coastal walks are close by as well as all the local attractions that South Devon has to offer. Dartmoor is about 20 minutes drive away.

The town has many different restaurants, cafes and pubs to suit everyone's taste. The seafront is ideal to rest, relax and watch the world go by, the back beach is a hive of activity with all the water activities, boats trips, yachts, ferries, lifeboat and port. There are many places to enjoy a drink on the back beach while watching the sun go down.

Area Events

Teignmouth boasts numerous events throughout the summer season such as the annual bowling tournament, carnival and regatta weeks, folk festival, weekly craft market to name but a few.

Accommodation Details

The accommodation is all on the ground floor and comprises of:

• Double bedroom (wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets). Beds are made up prior to arrival. En-suite shower room with electric shower.
• The lounge with dining area is a spacious room with a three seater sofa and single arm chair. Dining table and chairs. Television and DVD with a selection of DVDs, books and games to choose from.
• The kitchen is through a large archway and is fully equipped with a double oven cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and there is plenty of storage space.
• Parking is available nearby (20 metres away) but you are able to park adjacent to the cottage to unload.
• This is a no smoking establishment.
• Well behaved dogs are welcome. Please advise of of any faithful hounds when booking your holiday.

25.06.11 to 09.07.11  £335 per week
16.07.11 to 27.08.11  £385 per week
03.09.11 to 17.09.11  £310 per week

Short breaks are available. Contact us for daily rates.

Price includes all bed linen.
Towels are available at a small additional cost.
A non refundable £100 deposit is to be paid upon booking and the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to your stay.
If booking less than 8 weeks before your stay full payment is required at the time of booking.
